Chef DAT is taking on the food truck industry face on. I got a call from Temple last evening and he was excited to talk about his latest under/over ground dinner which will be located in Fort Worth’s Food truck park located at 2509 Weisenberger. On hand there will be live entertainment by Fort Worth-based Telegraph Canyon’s Chris Johnson and cocktails by The Usual’s owner Brad Hensarling.
DAT will actually be cooking out of the City Steak Grille food truck owned by Hunter Johnson and will be serving up 5 courses all made from 100% local ingredients. If DAT tries to slip in a pineapple, be sure to let us know.
The dinner starts at 7:30 tonight (sorry for the late notice) and costs $75. Even though some cocktails will be served, the party is still BYOB, which is pretty awesome. The park is pet friendly, so you can bring a herd of cats with you if you wish.
Some proceeds go to a local farm initiative. Purchase those tickets online now.
